Contemporary and versatile, the 50l Sensor Smart Bin comes in either silver or matt black finish (currently only silver in stock). Its robust design makes it ideal for use in the home, office, play areas and kitchens or any communal area where the hands-free aspect of the bin helps reduce the spread of germs and cross-contamination by eliminating the need for any human touch.
The automatic closing function will quickly trap any odours from escaping.
The Smart Bin utilises a patented infrared sensor which responds to a quick wave of the hand to open the lid automatically.
The lid will remain open for as long as you are busy around the sensor area and will close after 5 seconds when no activity is detected. Alternatively, you can simply wave over the sensor to reset the built in 5 second count down that closes the lid automatically when you have finished using the Bin.
This top of the range sensor is built in with a ‘power saving’ feature that extends the life of the batteries. The bin is fitted with a retainer ring that is specially designed to hold bin liners securely in place and stop them from bunching up or slipping into the bin. This retainer ring makes replacing the bin bag a quicker and more hassle free process. Just unclip the ring, put the new bag in and clip the ring back in place.
